You can always tell if the Mexican food is gonna be good based on the salsa and beans. Best salsa/pico de gallo, refried beans, carne asada(they actually use skirt steak here, not chewy stew meat), rice was traditional and cooked well, chips were fresh, the flan and horchata was perfection. To all the Californians trying to find good Mexican food like back home, look no further.
Food was great. Service was terrible. Our waitress came to our table twice. Once to take our order and once to drop-off the food. Didn't check on us or refill our drinks. I had to go hunt someone down to get our check. They weren't even busy. I saw 4 staff members standing around chatting most of the time, including our waitress.
Great quick service for lunch. Stopped there on the way through town in the afternoon for lunch.
Rice not good, enchiladas meh, salsa alright.. I guess, overall not impressed. Not good value for below average food.
Food was okay yesterday. We ordered are normal dinner we go every maybe few months and it's always different. I literally just ordered three tacos with rice and beans with lettuce and tomatoes on my taco and I got nothing on all 3. We were like the only five people in the restaurant on a Saturday evening so I have no idea why our food wasn't good quality since they were not busy at all. We've been really trying to find a good Mexican restaurant and this one is definitely not it.
Loved the authentic food, great service, and chill environment.
Green sauce enchiladas were great.
I was introduced by some close friends to eat here.one of my friends ordered taco salad... Ohhh yummy.
(I'm not trying to be rude and mabey there are better items)
I'm sad to say, this was some not so good food, and it cost us $75, before tip.
Ordered Bean and cheese burrito it was good. The chicken enchilada not so good, tamale was the worst thing, black, and dry.
Wife Ordered some tacos that were good she said.
Kids Ordered a burger and fries , (they are 3 and 5 years old. It was black patty, dry and didn't look or taste right at all.
Chips and salsa, with bean dip was good.
I gave a tip, because it's not the waitress fault. The atmosphere was great, awesome wooden seats. But what I mentioned before was rough.
And $75 seemed steep, only because quality of food was no Bueno.
They kindly asked if we wanted boxes to go and we said no thank you.
I will not eat there a 2nd time.
Food didn't take long at all to arrive. I got Tacos El Pastor, served on a hot plate with a side of beans and rice and a cup of tea. My partner got lemonade and it was very good. Food had me on the verge of tears after the first bite it was SO good!
